David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a global iGaming technology and online casino platform provider currently looking to hire a Commercial Legal Counsel to join their growing team.

Position: Commercial Legal Counsel

Location: Limassol, Cyprus 

Work model: on-site

Employment type: Full-time.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Advise the business on a wide range of legal matters including corporate law, labour law, partnerships, international ventures and corporate finance

• Provide accurate and timely legal guidance to management and business stakeholders on commercial matters

• Lead negotiations and drafting of commercial agreements including supplier agreements, PSP agreements, licensing agreements, NDAs and marketing agreements

• Support the business on intellectual property and licensing matters

• Liaise with external legal counsels on jurisdiction-specific matters including litigation, enforcement and licensing applications

• Contribute to the development and implementation of internal policies and procedures

• Support M&A activities in collaboration with the management team

• Assist with legal training and guidance for internal teams and stakeholders.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Law degree (LLB required, LLM considered an advantage), preferably from a UK university

• Qualified Attorney admitted to the Bar in the country of origin

• Minimum 4 years of relevant legal experience

• Previous in-house Legal Counsel experience is mandatory

• Experience within regulated industries will be considered an advantage

• Strong knowledge of corporate law and legal procedures

• Fluency in English, both verbal and written

• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills

• Previous iGaming and licensing experience will be considered an advantage.
