David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit a Health and Safety Advisor for their Gaming studios in Belgrade, Serbia.
Position: Health and Safety Advisor
Location: Belgrade, Serbia
Employment type: Full-time
Remuneration: Base salary + bonuses (including accommodation)
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and assess potential workplace risks, including those arising from new processes, equipment, or changes in working conditions, and recommend preventive measures.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety protocols, monitor equipment condition, and verify correct use of protective gear.
- Organize, develop, and deliver safety training for employees and managers to promote awareness and proper implementation of safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety documentation, including prevention and protection plans, inspection reports, and regulatory records.
- Collaborate with external service providers for risk assessments, equipment maintenance, and regulatory compliance checks.
- Work with internal safety committees or designated teams to address high-risk areas and propose improvement measures.
- Investigate workplace incidents and accidents, document findings, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Develop and regularly update emergency response, evacuation, and prevention plans; ensure all staff are trained in their application.
- Stay informed on relevant safety regulations, standards, and best practices through ongoing professional development.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
- Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, technical sciences, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of professional experience in occupational health and safety (OHS) or a similar safety-focused role.
- Valid OHS certification or license (where legally required).
- Strong knowledge of workplace safety regulations, risk management procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to assess hazards, implement safety measures, and oversee the use and maintenance of safety equipment.
- Physically capable of performing workplace inspections in various environments.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and external partners.
