David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit 3D Electrical Design Engineer for their Gaming studios in Bucharest, Romania. 

Position:  3D Electrical Design Engineer

Location: Bucharest, Romania

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and develop 3D models of electrical systems and components using CAD software
• Create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and assembly instructions
• Conduct simulations and analyses to validate the performance and safety of electrical designs
• Optimize designs for efficiency, reliability and compliance with industry standards
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for electrical designs
• Collaborate with mechanical engineers, project managers and other stakeholders to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs
• Support manufacturing and installation teams with technical guidance
• Participate in the development and testing of prototypes to validate design concepts and implement necessary adjustments
• Ensure all designs adhere to relevant industry standards, regulations and best practices
• Continuously monitor industry trends, tools and technologies to improve design processes and outcomes. 

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)
• 3–5 years of experience in electrical engineering with a focus on 3D modeling and design
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit)
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components and circuit design
• Experience with simulation tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB or similar
• Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (e.g., NEC, IEC)
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or relevant certifications are a plus.
