David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy who is seeking to onboard a French speaking Customer Service Representative to join their team in Braga.

Position: Customer Service Representative

Location: Braga, Portugal

Work model: On Site

Employment type: Fixed term (6 months) with possibility of extension / permanent contract

Remuneration: Base salary 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide professional customer support via chat and phone to users of a financial application

• Assist customers with enquiries related to their savings goals and financial services

• Present and recommend alternative energy contracts based on customer needs and preferences

• Apply upselling techniques to promote suitable products and services while ensuring a positive customer experience

• Deliver accurate, complete and timely information using internal systems and available resources

• Build strong customer relationships through professional and solution-oriented communication

• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and follow company procedures and quality standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native French, both written and spoken (C2)

• Previous experience in customer service, sales or a contact centre environment is preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions

• Experience with upselling or sales techniques is an advantage

• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Good computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously

• Strong organisational and time management skills

• Ability to work rotational shifts within business hours.
