David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy who is seeking to onboard a French speaking Customer Service Representative to join their team in Braga.

Position: Customer Service Representative

Location: Braga, Portugal

Work model: On Site

Employment type: Fixed term (6 months) with possibility of extension / permanent contract

Remuneration: Base salary 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide customer support regarding app features, functionality and general usage
• Handle customer enquiries primarily through inbound calls
• Assist users with account creation and access-related questions
• Support customers with balance management and benefit-related queries
• Explain available app services, features and employee benefit options
• Provide clear, accurate and solution-oriented information
• Maintain a professional and customer-focused approach across all interactions
• Escalate complex or unresolved cases to the appropriate internal teams
• Accurately document customer interactions and case details in internal systems.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native or fluent French, both written and spoken
• Good command of English
• Previous customer service or contact centre experience is an advantage
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills
• Customer-focused and solution-oriented mindset
• Good computer literacy and confidence using mobile applications and digital tools
• Ability to explain app features and processes clearly to customers
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage customer requests efficiently
• Experience supporting financial, employee benefit, payment or digital service applications is an advantage.
