David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit an AV Specialist to join their team in Bucharest, Romania & support global operations.

Position:  AV Specialist (global)

Location: Bucharest, Romania

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Install, configure, test, and maintain AV broadcast and studio production equipment

• Set up and manage hardware systems and IT networking for stable studio operations

• Perform advanced cabling and crimping on connectors such as BNC, RJ45, and XLR

• Support virtual studio environments and live production setups

• Operate and troubleshoot transmission links, scalers, and matrix systems

• Diagnose and resolve technical faults to minimise downtime

• Support outside broadcasts and international studio installations

• Design and implement custom AV and technical solutions when required

• Collaborate closely with creative, production, and technical teams

• Travel regularly to other studio locations globally.

Requirements

• Proven experience in AV broadcast, studio production, or live technical environments

• Strong knowledge of professional cameras, video workflows, and production equipment

• Experience with video switchers, SDI infrastructure, and live broadcast setups

• Hands-on experience with virtual studios or chroma keying is a strong advantage

• Solid understanding of AV hardware, electronics, and networking basics

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team

• Willingness to travel frequently.
