About the role.
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Global Head of Business Development to lead and scale Introducing Broker (IB) partnerships across key international markets.
This role focuses on driving revenue growth, strengthening high-value relationships, and supporting long-term expansion within the FX, financial services, and fintech space. The position combines hands-on business development with senior leadership responsibility, acting as a key representative at partner engagements and industry events.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Define and execute the global business development strategy with a strong focus on Introducing Brokers and strategic FX partnerships.
Identify, onboard, and grow long-term relationships with high-performing IBs across multiple international regions.
Lead commercial negotiations, partnership structuring, onboarding processes, and ongoing IB relationship management.
Set KPIs, monitor partner performance, and drive continuous optimisation of revenue and engagement.
Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver tailored partner solutions and campaigns.
Evaluate new market opportunities, analyse competitive landscapes, and support global expansion initiatives.
Represent the organisation at industry events, conferences, and senior-level partner meetings.
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global business development and IB management team.
Provide senior leadership with clear reporting on pipelines, market trends, and strategic progress.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across all relevant jurisdictions.
Requirements
Native or fluent Portuguese with English at C1 level, both written and spoken.
Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing, or a related discipline.
Experience in business development, IB management, or partnerships within FX, brokerage, fintech, or trading environments.
Strong FX background with proven experience managing and scaling Introducing Broker networks.
Demonstrated success leading international or multi-location teams.
Solid understanding of financial markets and trading products, including FX, CFDs, equities, and derivatives.
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and senior stakeholder management skills.
Proven track record of delivering measurable growth through partnerships and strategic initiatives.
Strategic and analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Willingness to travel internationally and operate across multiple time zones.
Additional languages are a strong advantage, particularly for European, Asian, or Latin American markets.
