Junior Banking/ Payments Officer

David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading financial services company who are looking to recruit a Junior Banking/Payments Officer for their Limassol office.

 

Position: Junior Banking/Payments Officer

Location: Limassol, Cyprus

Work model: on-site

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: base salary 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Manage daily payment transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and transfers
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in processing, and address any payment-related issues with clients or partners
  • Support banking relationships, reconcile transactions, and maintain accurate records
  • Assist in identifying and integrating new payment solutions to enhance operations
  • Ensure compliance with local and international payment regulations
  • Support anti-money laundering (AML) and fraud prevention efforts, and stay updated on regulatory changes
  • Assist the finance team with payment-related inquiries, financial reporting, and ensuring accurate accounting entries for payment operations
  • Address client payment inquiries and collaborate with customer service to resolve issues efficiently

 

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Native or fluent in English (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field
  • Minimum of 2 years in banking, Forex, casino, or PSP sectors
  • Experience in payment processing and banking operations is a plus
  • Proven track record in onboarding and integrating new payment solutions
  • Strong knowledge of payment systems and financial operations
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Familiarity with AML practices and regulatory compliance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and financial software
