David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy who is seeking to onboard a German-speaking Customer Service Representative to join their teams in Porto.

Position: Customer Service Representative

Location: Porto, Portugal

Work model: On-site

Employment type: Fixed term (6 months) with possibility of extension / permanent contract

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide customer support via email, live chat and phone

• Assist customers with enquiries related to the company's products and services

• Resolve customer issues efficiently while delivering a high standard of customer service

• Troubleshoot basic product-related enquiries and escalate complex cases when required

• Maintain accurate customer records and document all interactions in internal systems

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of customer requests

• Meet quality, productivity and service level targets

• Stay up to date with product knowledge, internal procedures and support processes.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native or fluent German, both written and spoken (C2)

• Good command of English (minimum B2)

• Previous customer service or contact centre experience is preferred

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Customer-focused with a professional and solution-oriented approach

• Good computer literacy and ability to quickly learn new systems and technologies

• Strong problem-solving and organisational skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple enquiries

• Available to work rotational shifts, with future flexibility for a 24/7 schedule if required.
