David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading B2B solution provider who are looking to recruit a Network Administrator for their Gaming studios in Bogota, Colombia. 

Position:  Network Administrator

Location: Bogota, Colombia

Employment type: Full-time

Remuneration: Base salary 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure to ensure reliability, security, and high performance
• Manage Cisco networking devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Oversee daily network operations including monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization to maintain uninterrupted connectivity
• Configure and manage wireless networks ensuring stable connections and security compliance
• Provide system administration support for Linux and Windows environments, configuring network services and security protocols
• Diagnose and resolve network issues across routing, switching, and wireless systems using appropriate diagnostic tools 
• Implement and maintain network security measures including ACLs, firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
• Ensure full compliance with internal security standards and operational procedures.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network engineering or administration
• Strong expertise in managing Cisco networking equipment and wireless infrastructure
• Solid understanding of Windows and Linux system administration and network services
• In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, BGP, and OSPF
• Experience with network monitoring and diagnostic tools such as Wireshark, PRTG, Zabbix, or Nagios
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken
• Flexible to work in rotating shifts within a 24/7 live studio environment
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and reliable with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
