David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading tech company who is looking to recruit a Handyman to join their team in Bogota, Colombia.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including painting, patching, cleaning, and basic facility repairs.
• Conduct minor repairs on company machinery, equipment, and appliances as needed.
• Identify and report major maintenance issues requiring specialized attention.
• Inspect facilities and common areas regularly to detect mechanical problems, safety hazards, or cleanliness issues.
• Respond promptly and professionally to maintenance requests and service calls.
• Carry out basic plumbing, electrical, and general repair work in accordance with safety standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Fluent in English (at least B2), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a maintenance, facilities, or technical support role.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proven experience with plumbing and electrical systems.
• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment.
• Strong organizational and communication skills, with attention to detail.
• Problem-solving mindset and ability to work independently or within a team.
• Availability for rotational 12-hour day and night shifts.
• Knowledge of HVAC system maintenance is an asset.
• Height work certification is a plus.
