David Kennedy Recruitment has forged a strategic partnership with a reputable and fast-growing brand who is currently seeking a Financial Manager. 

Position:  Financial Manager

Location: remote, Republic of Ireland

Work model: remote

Employment type: Services Agreement. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily financial operations, including accounts payable, receivables, payroll, expenses, VAT returns, and tax compliance
• Manage financial accounting systems, monitoring and reporting processes
• Produce accurate and timely financial and management reports
• Develop and implement financial forecasting models aligned with company performance metrics and commercial relationships
• Monitor and interpret cash flow and predict future financial trends
• Prepare and analyze budgets, providing insight and guidance on variances and change
• Provide meaningful financial and KPI data to support decision-making
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and revenue enhancement
• Liaise with auditors and ensure timely completion of annual audits
• Support commercial operations with financial insights to drive strategic decisions
• Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders, including auditors, banks, solicitors, and tax authorities across jurisdictions.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in Business, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
• Minimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in a finance role within a service-oriented business
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting standards and regulatory requirements
• Proven experience in cash flow management, budgeting, and reporting
• Solid understanding of international accounting practices and global operations
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
• Strong systems knowledge and ability to improve financial processes and tools
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
• Experience working with financial metrics and performance-driven reporting
• Comfortable with data analysis and financial modelling
• Experience supporting scalable finance operations in growing or international businesses will be considered as an advantage
• Familiarity with E-Commerce or online business models will be considered as an advantage
• Familiarity with Spanish and Portuguese accounting and tax principles is considered an advantage.
