David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading financial services company who are looking to recruit a Hebrew-speaking Banking Officer to join their Limassol team.  

Position: Banking Officer

Location: Limassol, Cyprus 

Employment type: Full-time

Work model: on-site 

Remuneration: base salary. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Communicate with financial institutions to manage accounts and transactions.
• Assist with the process of opening, maintaining, and closing bank accounts.
• Handle banking documentation, including compliance requirements and due diligence processes.
• Manage relationships with payment solutions, banks, and service providers.
• Ensure adherence to relevant banking regulations and internal company policies.
• Stay informed on trends, regulations, and industry developments.
• Assist with financial documentation and reporting tasks.
• Support the finance team in day-to-day banking and financial operations.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native or fluent in Hebrew (C1 level), with strong proficiency in both written and spoken communication, as well as English fluency (B2).
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2-3 years of experience in a similar role in banking, finance, or payment services.
• Familiarity with banking processes and payment solutions.
• Experience with account management, compliance, and due diligence procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills with financial institutions and service providers.
