DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and implement tailored lighting plans for a 24/7 live studio, ensuring consistent, high-quality lighting.
• Operate, monitor, and maintain lighting equipment, troubleshooting any technical issues as needed.
• Report on daily operations, equipment status, and issues to the on-site manager and the department director, ensuring alignment with departmental goals.
• Supervise and mentor junior technicians, providing guidance and training to ensure efficient operations.
• Ensure lighting setups comply with safety standards and collaborate with other departments to integrate lighting with audio, video, and other studio systems.
• Maintain a supportive work environment, accurate records of lighting setups and inventory, and stay updated on industry trends and technologies.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Proficient in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proven experience in live studio lighting, including designing and managing setups for continuous broadcasting, with expertise in studio lighting equipment and control systems.
• Ability to interpret light plots and a strong understanding of safety standards and best practices for live studio environments.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to address technical issues quickly and effectively in high-pressure live settings.
• Excellent team player, with the ability to communicate effectively with the on-site manager and the department director.
• Highly organized with attention to detail, and flexible to work various shifts, including occasional nights and weekends, to support the studio’s 24/7 operations.
