David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy who is seeking to onboard a Italian-speaking Customer Service Advisor to join their teams in Porto.

Position: Customer Service Advisor

Location: Porto, Portugal

Work model: on site

Employment type:  permanent contract

Remuneration: Base salary + bonuses.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Provide customer support via phone, email, live chat and social media channels

• Assist merchants with enquiries related to products, services and payment solutions

• Resolve customer issues efficiently while delivering an excellent customer experience

• Support merchants throughout their onboarding and product usage journey

• Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and internal processes

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing and other internal departments to resolve customer enquiries

• Maintain accurate customer records and document all interactions in internal systems

• Meet quality, productivity and service level targets.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native or fluent French, both written and spoken (C2)

• Good command of English (minimum B2)

• Previous experience in a contact centre or customer service role is preferred

• Comfortable using smartphones, tablets, computers and digital applications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Customer-focused with a professional and solution-oriented mindset

• Curious, proactive and persistent when resolving customer issues

• Well organised and able to remain calm under pressure

• Ability to work effectively within a team in a fast-paced environment

• Available to work rotational shifts, including weekends.
