David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO consultancy who is seeking to onboard German speaking Technical Customer Support Representative (tier 2) for their German team.
Position: Technical Customer Support (tier 2)
Location: Remote, Germany (after initial 2 months from the Berlin office)
Employment type: Full-time
Remuneration: Base salary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process support requests and fault reports
- Analyze and document requests into ticketing system
- Support professional tools/applications/operating systems
- Apply the best troubleshooting practices and utlize the team experience to correct technical errors
- Communicate & coordinate client users, customer IT and internal support department
- Develop, create and present status updates to the customer
- Handle technical support cases in compliance with all CFC principles and Client's processes
- Forward additional service requests to other teams and follow up on them.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Native/fluent in German, both oral and written. Fluent in English
- EU Passport holder or pre-settlement status in Germany Ideally completed training in the IT sector or equivalent
- At least 2+ years of proven experience in technical support or customer service roles
- Strong problem-solving skills and very good technical understanding
- In-depth knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, system setup, system performance and domain environment, boot process (backup process, backup types, Hyper-V type 1 & type 2, storage MCP)
- Windows® Server operating systems certification will be considered as an advantage
- Reliable and well organized
- Ability to perform individually, with minimum supervision and as a part of the team.
